PIANO AND VOCAL/CHORAL
This year is the 50th Eisteddfod to be held in Dalby and so we are going to celebrate this milestone by have a special class in each section where all solo performers can perform anything from the 1970's which is when the Eisteddfod started.
The first eisteddfod sessions for the year is generally held in the last week of May and the first week of June.
Piano is held over two days and consists of solo, duet, trio and accompaniment sections. There is the opportunity to enter age category championships and there are also adult and beginner classes.
Vocal and Choral is held over four days and ranges from solo work to school choirs and concert items. There are championship classes for both solo competitors, schools and small schools.
SPEECH/DRAMA AND INSTRUMENTAL
The second eisteddfod sessions for the year generally held between the last week in July and the beginning of August.
Speech and Drama is held over three days and has plenty of opportunity for both individual items, small groups and school classes. Championship sections are available to enter for individuals.
Instrumental is held over five full days, and has sections for school bands, small school bands, and community bands. There are classes for all orchestral instruments plus guitar and recorder.
As we have mentioned this year is the 50th Eisteddfod to be held in Dalby and so we are going to celebrate this milestone by have a special class in each section where all solo performers can perform anything from the 1970's which is when the Eisteddfod started.
