49th Dalby Eisteddfod

Piano - Monday 1st to Tuesday 2nd June, 2020 

Vocal/Choral - Wednesday 3rd to Saturday 6th June, 2020 

Speech/Drama - Thursday 30th to Friday 31st July, 2020 

Instrumental - Monday 3rd to Friday 7th August, 2020 

Selected Winner's Concerts 

Piano/Vocal/Choral - Tuesday 9th June 6pm 

Speech/Drama/Instrumental - TBA 




The first eisteddfod sessions for the year generally held in the first week of June.

Piano is held over two days and consists of solo, duet, trio and accompaniment sections. The is the opportunity to enter age category championships and there are also adult and beginner classes. 

Vocal and Choral is held over four days and ranges from solo work to school choirs and concert items. There are championship classes for both solo competitors, schools and small schools.

The second eisteddfod sessions for the year generally held towards the beginning of August. 

Speech and Drama is held over two days and has plenty of opportunity for both individual items, small groups and school classes. Championship sections are available to enter for individuals. 

Instrumental is held over five full days, and has sections for school bands, small school bands, and community bands. There are classes for all orchestral instruments plus guitar and recorder.
